Lunchtime

2018 Summer menu

At Hardwicke School our kitchen staff prepare and cook our school lunches on the premises every day. There is a great choice of freshly cooked, healthy food and it is very popular with all the pupils.

Children can also bring their own packed lunch to eat in the dining hall if they prefer.

We also encourage our junior pupils to bring fruit as a breaktime snack. Fruit is provided free to all infant children.

There is the link to the ParentPay website at the bottom of the Home page, or on the Links menu where you can register and log on to pre-pay your dinners.

You can find our School Meals and Packed Lunch Policy on the Policies page.

Here is the 2018 Summer school dinner menu You can also find more information on the Caterlink website.

Well done to Carole and her team in the kitchen - they are winners of the Gloucester Reward and Recognition 2017

In Autumn 2015 the County Council started using a new contractor - CaterLink. A form for any child with a special diet or allergies/intolerances is available below. You can find out more about CaterLink on their website.

Free school meals for all 4-7 year old children

The government introduced Universal Infant Free School Meals for all children aged 4 – 7 in 2014. This is in addition to the free school meals service currently offered to pupils whose parents are in receipt of qualifying benefits.

All parents of children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 need to register for free school meals either by downloading and filling in the form available on the Forms  page (or from the school office) or by registering online at www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/educationgrants..

Important
Even if you don't want your child to receive a meal  you should still register  so that the school receives as much funding as possible from the government.
