Did you know that a sukkah is a simple hut used during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. It is a symbolic dwelling that commemorates the time that the Israelite's spent in the wilderness after they were freed from slavery in Egypt. Well done Y1 a great job!

The children had lots of opportunities to use their senses and to smell and handle chocolate pods, beans, cocoa paste, cocoa butter and to taste the 'nib' and of course the final product 'chocolate'.
We were able to complete all of the challenges set by Carl and answered his questions which ensured we received our certificates which now makes us all CHOCOLATOLOGISTS! Thank you Carl you were amazing.
