Class RA Well-Being Week

During the week beginning 20th May we had a whole school well-being week. Our focus was on both physical and mental health which are both essential to learning.
Class RA had a fun and exhilarating week which included many activities. We made healthy food face wraps for snack time, enjoyed story times outside in the sunshine and we were introduced to yoga which is great for calming ourselves down. The children would like to continue yoga in our final term. We joined class RB for a fantastic, lively zumba session and spent some calmer time planting flowers, tomatoes and strawberries as well as testing our fine motor skills with some colourful weaving. As the sun continued to shine we took time out to practice for sports day. We ended the week with an ice lolly treat which we know rehydrates our brains and helps with our learning!
