Tim Fletcher
At Hardwicke, as well as valuing and upholding children's wellbeing, we also ensure that staff feel supported too. In January 2026, Tim Fletcher (Sportily) joined us as our School Chaplain. Tim can meet with staff at Hardwicke and support them through his impartial service. Tim is here weekly to make everyone feel like they have a safe space to talk.
A bit about Tim:
Tim is well-known in our school community as he has worked with us for over 3 years through a sports capacity. The children in Year 5 love working with Tim each year to become Sports Leaders and he has also undertaken Active RE lessons with KS2 over the past year. He is hoping to continue this again when the new RE curriculum is fully in-place. Tim also has run our Year 6 residential alongside the Sportily team for the past 3 years. Starting in April 2026, Tim is also running a workshop with some children called, 'Punching Positivity' where he coaches and supports children in managing big emotions. Tim also volunteers to support us in school delivering school worships, spirituality days and Experience Easter.
We look forward to continuing to work with Tim throughout lots of aspects in our school.
